Working in Partnership

A key objective of Road Safety Analysis is to spread the benefits of good analytical techniques as widely as possible among road safety professionals.  Therefore, extensive dissemination of the software tools, best practice in their use, and the consequent potential for casualty reduction has a central role in our work.

Partnership in MAST

MAST members include a wide range of stakeholders, including local authorities, police forces, fire and rescue services and road safety partnerships.

The MAST Online Steering Group was established to share existing practices and focus future development on key priorities.   The Steering Group embraces a wide variety of perspectives from within the road safety community.  Delegates from a range of different organisations and job roles, representing both national bodies and almost every region of the UK, will provide a valuable and diverse sounding board for the team working to make MAST’s aims into reality.

Partnership in Road Casualties Online

Road Safety Analysis have effectively worked as a technical delivery partner with the Department for Transport on Road Casualties Online.

Through seeing MAST Online the DfT recognised the power of using new technologies to enhance the way in which people are able to interact with the data.  Rather than just publishing static pages of numbers the powerful database engine and user friendly interface that provides so much to MAST users could be redeveloped to assist the public.

Road Safety Analysis have worked with the DFT to turn this ambition into a reality.  Find out more by visiting www.roadcasualtiesonline.org
